I never seen that happen in a boxing match but your but ear infection and/or ruptures can and will fukk with your balance.

I've seen people have ear drums that ruptured that have told me it took a long time before they could balance themselves comfortably

if u were ever are taught self defense techniques... alot of instructors will tell u to cup ya hand n go for the ear...to knock em off balance..n potentially damage the ear drum...
