There were concerns that Hangman Page may have hurt his ankle on last Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite. One report suggested he was actually hurt, while another said he was simply selling and was fine. It seems the latter was accurate. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that due to a personal issue, Page may have to miss AEW Revolution.

This would force the company to change the match from a three-way to singles, with Samoa Joe vs. Swerve Strickland. The shots of Page selling a hurt ankle and limping to the back were done as a way to explain his absence if he needs to miss the event.

This is potentially great news for Swerve. Now he won't have to suffer the pain of watching a white man get pinned.

In all seriousness, Private Party's velvet rope skits are pretty good. I think that the skits could really get over if they took place in the ring ON DYNAMITE instead of on the arena loading dock.

I didn't watch TNA during her glory days, but has Madison Rayne ever been good in the ring? She's only 38, so she shouldn't be washed at that age, and ever since she has joined AEW her in-ring work has just been bad. I see they put the Knockouts title on her five times, was this during a Divas era for TNA or something?

She was ok. Can’t remember a memorable match of hers but she was average for her time period. She was a lot better than what she showed on Wednesday. She looked like crap before the botch. Should have been a squash or used one of the ROH girls instead.

Swerve got upset about being included on the BRP 50 list (and he was ranked pretty highly, too). The BRP 50 is an annual list of the top 50 Black wrestlers, and it's a pretty cool lost to be on; but last year, Swerve was on some "I'm not Black, I'm Swerve" bs.
