Honestly most of those first person rpgs have poor writing compared to the golden era CRPGs of the early/mid 00s. Something about actually investing time into building your character and your party. The throwback style isn't for everyone these days but Pillars of Eternity and Wasteland 3 are some of the best roleplaying experiences of the last decade or so imo.

The second game is incredibly underrated…

Exclusively? I don't see how

I like swapping to view my character and run around, but fighting in 1st person feels a lot more natural

Plus, the animations look way too stiff :scust:

Its an rpg where you can kill a raider and put on spiky football shoulder pads like the road warriors. Of course im playing in 3rd person. I prefer it to the point where i dont care that the characters move like gumby

I would ahve played cyberpunk in 3rd person had they given me the option also.
