The cross matchups the 96 Bulls could throw on the 2012 team would be ridiculous. They could throw Rodman on Bron if they wanted and Scottie could guard whoever is playing center. Mike could harass the shyt outta CP or DWill or Harper could make them work. Especially CP3. They can put MJ, Pip, or Rodman on KD when necessary and still have 2 more elite wing defenders to spare. It'd be a 7 game series. And I dont see MJ losing those.

2012 have too many perimeter weapons, the '96 Bulls never had to play a team with more than one dominant wing player.

Rodman isn't chasing Durant around screens. Jordan & Pippen can't guard CP3 (or D-Will/Westbrook), Kobe, Bron, KD (or Melo), all at once.

the bulls had a big backcourt trio of defensive specialist in:

stutter'n ron
air jordan
pip

mike and pip used to shut down wedgie off screens.

while also containing or deliberately allowing scoring machines like mitch, to score.

also,..you are wrong as there were plenty of great large size backcourt tandems.

including darkhorses like bobby phils and chris mills.
jordan's buddies, who used to get be a potent wing tandem combo as well

so,..you are wrong in that regard.

stutter'n ron shut down every pedigree'd lil guard on d with a problematic knee,
consistently.

plus the waiter could defend durant.

plus, pip could definately defend and shut down kd.

even worse than,...bron did in the finals.

The good news for the Bulls is the 2012 team can only play 4 of those perimeter weapons at a time. And theres only 1 ball. The Bulls have MJ, Pip, Harper & Rodman. 2 elite perimeter defenders, 1 good perimeter defender, and Rodman could guard 2-5 IMO. Why isnt Rodman chasing Durant around screens?

Not only could Rodman chase Durant around screens, I think he'd get the mental advantage on him, to.

Rodman was tireless. His agility and stamina levels will probably never be equaled or surpassed

I've seen him battle against every position on the floor, all out, all game.

Yet and still, I never saw him take a deep breath or sweat.Literally....NEVER.

And I'm not even exaggerating

There has never been a more thorough manifestation of the negro slave gene than Dennis Rodman

Unless Dennis Rodman is the bionic man or a cyborg i'm sure he's been tired and has sweat even. That was straight :troll: in and i'm a bulls fan.

We would obviously lose because jordan pippen rodman harper longley can't play 48 minutes a game for a 7 game series.

You trolling brother! I love that 96 bulls team but no way in hell they beat this 2012 team in 7.

So who's gonna guard D-Will, Westbrook, Melo, & Love when both teams go to their bench?

And I said dominant wings, not no bobby phills and chris mills :rudy:

I mean this is all speculation at the end of the day, but Durant is 6'10 with two guard mobility. I mean yea Rodman could theoretically chase him around the court, but I can't see him stopping KD from getting his shot off.

96 Bulls had Randy Brown coming off the bench I think. He can't stop them but he matches up well with DWill and Russ. The Bulls have the bodies to match up with Love. Melo or Love will have to guard Kukoc which wont be easy. Again, there is only 1 ball. At least 2 of those guys will have to defer. Phil jackson will also find a way to have Pip or MJ on the floor at all times.

Nobody can stop KD from getting his shot off. The idea is to make him work and take tough shots. Rodman specializes in that. But I agree this is all speculation. My opinion is the 96 Bulls can take em to 7. I cant say who wins but its tough for me to see MJ losing a game 7, especially for the bragging rights if this game was even humanly possible.

If Rodman is chasing KD on the perimeter the Bulls won't get a single board against Kevin Love.

No matter what way yall try to spin it, the Bulls have no chance in hell at beating the 2012 team.....no NBA team does.
