I've grown to look at Tyson like this. Growing up, he was like the boogie man but as you get older and watch some less heralded boxers, compared to Tyson, you begin to realize that Tyson undoubtedly faces some difficulty against some fighters. Lennox is one of them. Tyson is deserving of hall of fame status but that nikka ain't the terminator or something.

Prime Tyson was a gifted infighter. While I think Lennox may still win based on his cautious style and smarts as well as his height and reach advantage. His margin for error would be low because if Tyson closes the gap and rocks him with a well place power punch it's a wrap.

Thinking more about this, I'm going 100% Tyson. There was just something absolutely unnerving about his speed, movement, timing and power.

Here's a video of Lewis talking about Tyson being very intimidating after watching him on TV even though he already sparred with him for a whole weekend:

Even old Tyson had Lewis literally jumping away trying to avoid his power and speed. Tyson was very much in Lewis's head:

As composed as Lewis is, Prime Tyson carried his power and speed through all 12 rounds in his prime. Eventually he'd unnerve Lewis and break his will considering Tyson doesn't outright knock him out early.

Are we allowed to talk about how Tyson ducked Lewis by paying him 4 mil? They got a long history. Tyson didn't want to fight him as an amateur in the Dominican Republic. And after sparring with him, he didn't want to fight him as a professional either

I see 1988 Tyson winning a close, sloppy decision...a la Tua, though his work rate would mean the difference.
