Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
you acting like there are a bunch of Usain bolts and Shaqs out there today. :youngsabo:

Theres only one Usain bolt. Give Owens modern equipment and training techniques (and steroids), and he'd do as well as the modern sprinters.

I said Usain was the next evolution, what you'll see 20 years from now is a bunch of guys between 6"4-6"6. Usain opened eyes, before him people never really thought guys that tall could run like that. What will happen since he came on the scene is that track coaches will look to kids they never really gave a second thought to before, the tall lanky kid that doesn't like football or basketball.

i think prime shaq would body wilt.. I'm not a fan of these old nikkas

I think they'd play each other to a standstill, if Hakeem and David Robinson could play against Shaq, there's no reason to believe Wilt couldn't.

Big men have been regressing to the point that Dino Radja & Rony Seikaly would be top 5 centers in the league today.

nah. Most tall dudes are not naturally fast like that. Tall does not equate to speed. Bolt is an anomaly. Look at the NFL, you got a tall guy like Moss, and there really aint anyone else like him out there.

I've seen WNBA'ers throw it down harder than this vid. Still much respect to the OGs & the OP for the vid
A) you haven't

B) they weren't trying to make sportscenter back then. They just wanted to score.

In saying that, the defending on Bill Russell's solo fast break was :scusthov:

I doubt this. Unless humans average height grows 3-4 inches in the next 20-25 years, you won't see another Usain Bolt. He is a freak of nature.

WILT was 7'1 280lbs

nikka wasnt no pushover
And he was strong as hell too.

Wilt would have dominated every era. Maybe not 45-50 a game, but he would has gotten at least 30 a game.

In today's NBA he would get 35 and 17.

Wilt:
Height w/o shoes: 7-1.06"
Playing weight range: 258lbs - 300lbs. (320lbs max when entering training camp overweight in 1963.)
Wingspan: 7-8"
Standing reach (w/o shoes): 9-6"
Hand length: 9.5"
Hand width: 11.5"

Dwight:
Height w/o shoes: 6-9"
Playing weight range: 240lbs - 280lbs
Wingspan: 7-4.5"
Standing reach (w/o shoes): 9-2.25"
Hand length: 9.25"
Hand width: 9.75"

Wilt is perhaps the most freakish specimen ever to hit pro sports yet he wouldnt b able to dominate today :heh:

Dope vid.

Elgin Baylor and Wilt were the first great athletes of the league.

Didn't know Russell had handle/throw down ability like that.
