You're ignoring the fact that unvaccinated people are filling up hospitals and making people with non-COVID issues have to wait longer. If you have a heart attack and care got delayed because the ER was full, that's an issue.

So there's plenty of reason to care. And Dems won't win on the issue regardless because they're terrible at politics, but the truth is the truth. It's a public health issue.

All public places should absolutely institute vaccine mandates. So you can personally choose to not get vaccinated and then figure out how you're going to feed your self and earn a living among the unvaccinated.

Another case of Dems wanting to be right more than they want to be effective. If you just dropped it as a current affairs topic (who is and isn't vaxxed) and didn't escalate the argument more people would reconsider and get vaxxed due to the hard data about who is and isn't getting sick/dying from Covid. But trying to shame and ridicule people constantly just makes people not into the vaccine dig their heels in more. I want as many people vaxxed as possible but the rhetoric from many on our side is just deplorable and unhelpful to the overall cause.

These are ugly comments that have no place in the public discourse. And more than anything they are counter productive. No one is going to get vaxxed after you tell them they deserve to die for not getting it to this point. It's dumb.

Plenty of studies show that shaming people works in society. I find it abhorrent that people are trying to act as if these comments are more harmful than the public health crisis that antivaxxers are causing. It's bullshyt false equivalency and needs to stop. I have sympathy for all people. Kids under 12 can't take the vaccine yet. So that's actually not true.
