Tbf, as dangerous as America is, it’s nowhere near the most dangerous nation on earth per capita. Gun crimes are largest in the 3rd largest country on earth which also happens to have the most proliferation guns. This is true of America, but per capita there are more dangerous nations.

I already made a post in this thread that details how our guns are helping to fuel gun violence in other countries that have higher gun violence rates. Our problem is making their problems worse.

And since when was the US competing with countries like El Salvador and Guatemala anyway? Not being “the most dangerous nation on Earth” is a pretty low bar to clear, especially considering that we certainly have higher rates of violence and murder compared to other first world peers, the countries we should be compared to.
