Yeah, but getting the most votes isn't the name of the game. All candidates know that going in.
That has nothing to do with your original comment.

The electoral college is skewed toward rural, white, republicans. Gerrymandering dilutes the impact of democratic voters power. Your statement made no sense.

How doesn't it make sense? Progressives are very popular and the DCCC is actively working against Progressive local candidates when they are supposed to be neutral. They are not about doing whatever it takes to win.

The DCCC is only concerned about candidates who've declared themselves as a moderate democrat or a progressive.

The statement DEMOCRATS WOULD RATHER VOTE FOR A REPUBLICAN THAN A PROGRESSIVE IS PATENTLY FALSE.

Where or how republicans come into play makes no sense considering democratic voters have, again, consistently outvoted the #1 republican in presidential elections by 3 million votes.

You are misquoting me. I never said 'vote'. I'm saying the Democratic Establishment would rather a Republican than a Progressive. I'm not talking about regular citizens at all.

BERNIE OR BUST DOES NOT EXIST

They are the #neverTrumpers of 2016

:mindblown: why do we have to keep repeating this shyt

Nah, I'm pretty sure they do, or at least did in 2016. It's a fact that a significant number of Democratic voters stayed home in 2016.

Never Trumpers don't really exist, but Dem voters love finding reasons not to vote.

No :beli:...guys we gotta stop spreading these demoralizing characteristics as if they are fact.

1. In 2008 Obama scored the largest presidential popular vote count in US history at 69mil. That number was NEVER supposed to be achieved by his predecessor. That was forecasted by the Obama campaign staff and democrats way before his presidency even ended.
2. Hillary scored 65mil, which was a huge victory in itself.
3. We don't know the actual reason why all previous Obama voters stayed home. As has been outlined countless amount of times in this thread and in this thread: GOP National Voter Suppression (Interstate Crosscheck) , democratic voters have been stripped of their power to vote.
4. Total vote count does not tell the full story, because voters from Cali, NY, or Maryland that stayed home simply don't matter toward winning the electoral college.
5. A larger percentage of bernie primary voters hit the polls for Hillary than Hillary primary voters when she faced off against Obama in 08. So if Bernie or Bust is a concept, then it really should be called Hillary or Bust.

That we're still arguing these easy to verify concepts in July of 2018 :snoop:
