I think Texas is still a few cycles away, that's why the Castros avoided each major race.

Beto will surprise but fall about 4-5 pts short.
I agree. Unless they start deporting hispanics in mass, it's inevitable that this will be a toss up state in 20-30 years.

That being said, Castros don't have Beto's charisma, work ethic, and communication skills imo. Even if Beto loses, he needs to become a leader for the party nationally.
