I got the same feeling as well. The state doesn't really do much to make sure everyone knows that there's an election going on today either. It's up to the individuals who do know to notify others... And not just in a "I voted" Facebook post after 9 o'clock either

I don't know b. The election signs pretty uch litter every yard of your community. Not to mention the local news talks about the elction every night leading up to the vote.

I don't think there is an issue getting the word out through print or media. It's just that a large portion of our population has an anti-social routine because of limitations due to work, commute, or parenting.

Dems overestimate the IQ of voters. Instead of planning as if everyone is dumb they try to appeal to the rationality of white men which in turn pissses of their base and they fail to get those moderates who support Trump at 90 percent. The whole shut up and vote for our guy or you're a stupid protest voter move was one of the dumbest things in history. So no, I expect them to fukk it up. They should have shut down the Senate over Merrick Garland.

The federal courts appointments are going to come to a full-stop no doubt.


Assuming it's Kennedy who goes, yeah, I think they'll have to. I'm sure Trump will pull some brinksmanship to force a deal, but they have to stop the court from becoming 5 full-fledge Conservatives. If any of the the other Justices don't make it to the end of the term, the Dems will be screwed and have to make a deal.
