Tried to warn yall. :francis:

Expect the worst. Just don't want to see people disappointed on election night like we were in 2016. Overestimate American voters at your own peril, brehs.

I don't know what to make of this:patrice:

Democrats have an advantage among independents, but there are still a lot of both siders.

The most important thing to focus on is each individual state. Don't get caught up on the national poll numbers. That's why we weren't able to foresee the fall of Michigan. Focus on individual states so you can get an understanding of how lost or how misinformed Republicans are. Also use the time to see how good/wack the Democratic strategy is at the local level.

There are a lot of good wins we've heard about since Trump's election. If you focus on national poll results you'll completely miss them. Remember, a black man is a mayor in Montana :banderas:

A good percentage of Independents are Republicans too ashamed to actually call themselves Republicans.
They just want to be hip or woke.

If you want the answer just ask them how they voted.

If they say, "I don't talk about politics" you've more than likely found your conservative voting independent.

That's true.

Supposedly they're "moderates" but most moderates in this country lean conservative.

I still think Democrats do well in the midterms but possibly lose 2020

Honestly I think the opposite may be true.

If Trump is still in office in 2020 then people will show out just to get rid of him no matter what Democrat runs. And that's even if we're not in a recession by then.

But midterms? I dunno...I want to believe but Dems have such a history of shytty turnout for midterms that I just can't be optimistic about it. I literally can't remember the last time Dems had decent turnout for midterms.
