The senate needs to be restructured

The senate needs to dissolve entirely. It’s built to serve as a counterpoint to the house and give voice to the smaller states, but at this point in time it’s beyond detrimental to progress. No good reason a state with half a million people should have as many people represent it in a governing body in dc as a state with 20 million or more. The senate and electoral college are arguably the two biggest obstacles to a prosperous long term future for this country. Them and voter suppression are my top 3.
