Before 2016 I didn't pay much attention to exit polls. But I remember in 2016 when the first exit polls were posted and one question was about " desire for change" and there was a huge number in favor. I had a bad feeling about that one question at that time and of course we know what happened.

Man in Washington County allegedly threatened to open fire on polling place

A man in Washington County allegedly threatened to “shoot up” a polling place when poll workers informed him Tuesday morning that he was not registered in the county, according to charges filed against him.

Christopher Queen, 48, who lives in Elk County near Kane, is charged with making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct, court records showed.

Queen allegedly went to the South Franklin Fire Hall about 8:10 a.m. and attempted to vote, according to the criminal complaint. Poll workers told him he was not registered to vote in the area, and he allegedly became angry and said he was going to come back with a gun and “shoot up” the polling place, police wrote in the complaint.

According to the complaint, Queen took off but was later found and arrested.

Poll workers told Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV that Queen told them he’d been promised a gun and money if he voted “straight party.”

Voter registration records list a Christopher Queen with a birthdate of Oct. 8, 1970, as a Republican registered at an address on Route 66 near Kane. Court records for the charges filed Tuesday by state police match voter registration data.
