Because they both got elected without needing the votes or the donations of anti-Palestinian folks, they can speak their minds openly without fear. They don't know how to respond because they know they will lose a public debate with people who speak clearly about the injustice of a decades long occupation.

YES!!!! I thought it was fishy when folks were speculating that she was basically a Palestinian face to AIPAC/Israel and them due to J Street's support. Now with them around, folks like Ocasio-Cortez can take their lead in providing clarity and understanding of all of that.
