Have seen this too many times. We used to get standing room only for Wendy Davis. We were hitting up parties at the homes if big donors. Pole were looking good in the summer. Then the fall hit. The name calling and changes started. White people voted, and it was over. Perhaps the Trump effect will help Beto this time. Perhaps the extra people who have moved here will help. There will be some last minute okey doke. Don't trust these townhalls. I'm just cynical, so don't listen to me. I've seen too much that makes me hate Texas politics more than I thought I did.

Here's the problem that anti-Palestinian lobby will have with Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar: They really don't care what the lobby thinks.
Because they both got elected without needing the votes or the donations of anti-Palestinian folks, they can speak their minds openly without fear. The lobby hasn't encountered American elected officials who don't pull their punches on this issue. They don't know how to respond because they know they will lose a public debate with people who speak clearly about the injustice of a decades long occupation.
