Fact Check here...

1.17 years old....out at 4AM.
2.Parents give kid a supped up car knowing he doesn't have the experience.
3. Kid only has a permit

The Parents should go to jail for being fukking irresponsible dumb-asses with no common sense.

Why would a parent give their kid a rally car as their first car? That's a list for disaster right there.

My first car: shytty 1991 olds cutless sierra. Wasn't physically possible for me to get into trouble like this. Once I learned how to be a respectable driver then they allowed me to purchase something else. My kids can expect the same.

I think the driving age should be 18 and a teenage driver should have to log an X amount of hours behind the wheel with a learners permit before they are allowed to get a license. The decision making ability of teenagers is just not there to be giving the licenses at 16.

When I was sixteen almost everyone I knew who had a car including myself got into a car accident within a year of getting their license. In Georgia the driving test is not even on the road. It's in a parking lot and any idiot can pass the test.

Would not surprise me if the parents catch suits over this as well

Those dummies contributed to his death by giving him a wrx sti with a learners permit:wtf:

I would prolly be dead too if i had that car at 17

Make driving tests much much harder and get rid of automatic transmissions (anyone with half a brain can operate one)

I love how they include marijuana in this as if it played a part. Parents gave him a fast as fukk car, he was driving 110mph and only had a permit. as @thekingsmen said the parents should go to jail.

No License for life
25 Year Probabtion
Mandatory PSA's for the next 5 years

Parents should lose their License for life also. Insurance company is going to have to come out those pockets.

Doubt it. He only had a permit, therefore he's not on the insurance. Insurance company is gonna point the finger at the irresponsible parents. He underage with a permit therefore he ain't supposed to be driving after 9pm anyway. And there's drugs involved. The parents are assed out if the parents of the deceased sue. Which they probably will. The only way the parents ain't liable is if they say their 17 year old was an adult therefore not bound by their rules.

Yeah this shyt was all kinds of fukked up. He didn't crash because he was high, he crashed because he was doing 110 like an a$$hole. They wanna lock dude up for 25 years, what good is that going to do? He should do 2 years and not be allowed to drive until he's 30.

He crashed because he was high. He wasn't fully sober to handle driving at 110 MPH. At higher speeds, small steering mistakes are larger and correcting errors at high speeds is harder to do. Plus, he was an inexperienced driver.
He could have crashed even when going 15 MPH, but a crash would not have been fatal.
What does it do? It's his punishment for killing three people.
