Nah. If you're in a car by yourself, you're allowed to go as fast as you like as long as you're not putting other drivers/cars at risk. What ever citations you incur is on you. If you have other people in the car then you're responsible for their well being and should not be putting their lives at risk by doing 110mph while under the influence. Hard lesson to learn for such a stupid mistake, but his stupidity caused the death of 3 of his friends.
