I'm 29 and don't remember this..what year was this?Any ya'll remember the McPizza. Them joints was good as hell to a young nikka.
You know parents in the 80s were like when they find out the McDonalds they're pulling into had those playgrounds. Not having to sit and eat with 4 bad ass kids
Of course mcd was better in the 90s everything was cheaperI was just talking with my fiance about how much better McDonald's use to be when we were young
1. The food was better
- They had a better selection of sandwiches. Now, most of the sandwiches are not that good in my opinion. Especially the chicken sandwiches.
- They had cherry pies and apple pies.
2. They had better promotional deals
- Two cheeseburgers for $1, two Big Macs for $3 or $4, etc.
3. Growing up, every kid wanted to work at McDonald's. And they were good for promoting young people into management positions even while in high school. All the kids who use to work at McDonald's had money....for high schoolers. Some kept working there through college and moved into regional management....making very good money at young ages.
- My fiance worked there during high school and loved it. Looking back, she wishes she had taken the opportunity to become a manager and kept working there during college.
- Now, it seems McDonald's is on Wal-mart status. Most employing former drug addicts and people just trying to make a way.
Peace
Man I'm 31 and it was when I was like 5 or 6 I'd have to guess? I'll ask my mother tonight, because I was wondering the same thing.I'm 29 and don't remember this..what year was this?

Its the economy and the way of the world as well. McDonald's was like a starter job or a side job back in the day. Now older people aren't retiring like they used to, youngsters are competing with older heads and heads who aren't working in the fields they got their degrees in, some of the younger generation don't want to be seen working in a fast food joint, etc. Its just different times. I worked there part time for like a year and half back when I was in high school. shyt was fun. Alot of the homies worked there- we ate up shyt and traded food with other fast food joints that were down the street from us all the time- Dominoes, Wendys, Burger King, a Chinese spotI was just talking with my fiance about how much better McDonald's use to be when we were young
