Play ball...

Have to push through this. Baseball is a guinea pig for the NFL. Positive tests are not enough for a shut down. Y'all need get off that.

I think the NFL should go to 12 game seasons and I think their 16 game season is a shell plan for future postponements if necessary.

If they didn’t shut it down for the Marlins outbreak I don’t see why people think it’s gonna happen with the Cardinals

Did they really think just having empty stadium games was enough? :mjlol: Should have followed the NBA league. Each division or whatever has a bubble site and a couple games. Top seeds move to one centralized location and have the playoffs. The players still being able to roam around and travel was a recipe for disaster

While I agree, they were able to throw multiple teams in the trash, and they only have to finish a handful of games.

Now, there WONT be another season of anything without a vaccine

someone in the NFL will die from covid.

a lot of linemen are NOT built for that shyt.

they need to be treating this the most seriously of all the sports in my opinion.

Middle of a pandemic in a season that shouldn't be happening and he's worried about the cut he's gonna get this offseason. Unreal.

He’s fukking scum

Boras is not a good guy by any means, but the only language the owners and Manfred speak is $. They certainly don't speak the language of compassion.

By saying that the quarantine rules get in the way of his players ability to work out and remain ready to earn their contracts he is implying that there could be a lawsuit over this as follows:
League asks players to play under circumstances that will get them sick
Players get sick and have their lifetime earning potential appreciably diminished because they are unable to work out because of the regulations of the same league that let them get sick in the first place
So the league / teams can be sued for the difference

I can't imagine that law suit actually occurring, but it looks to me like Boras is using his evil super villain money manager powers to protect the interests of the players he represents, at least in this instance.
