wrong nikka?
nah not me breh.I guess. thought you were complaining about a pig thought you jumped a turnstile or you were in the jects driving and they pulled you for some garbage earlier this year.
yeah, rents went up a lot recently but eh, sounds like she's loosing her shirt. I think a 1 bedroom is around 2k month tops still. When I moved back from Europe 3 years ago or so I got a 1 bedroom for $1000 then last year I paid 1600. Now I have a real 3 and that's around 3k and I catch deals granted I paid a brokerage fee but I write all of that off.
I'd say it's the neighborhood/area to shoot for. fort greene and clinton hill have a mixed bag on subway access and bed stuy is still pretty hood/no subway.
wburgh and bushwick more specifically are far from lower manhattan but there's cool stuff out there no matter how hard I lampoon it. I was out there tonight and had fun.
Thanks for the recommendation breh, that's what I was looking for, names of neighborhoods and shyt like ft green, Clinton hill etc, when I've been looking online it'll say "brooklyn" or "harlem" which doesn't tell me much, I'll look harder
I couldn't find anything for $1200 where the reviews didn't say mice or roaches. I can't have that shyt. I can deal with anything else but no pests!i paid 1200 for a 2 BR/1B a few years back. 1 block away from the metro station, 3 miles from district line, 1/2 mile off a 495 exit. safe working class neighborhood.
i used to pay 1000/month utilities included for 3 BR, in NC, so i get it. but living in NC sucks so i'll gladly pay a few more a month
This nikka @The Dollar Menu lost me at NY
This is real life my nikka... If you ain't playing for the Knicks... I don't see why you would want to live out here....
I'm praying for the day that I get to leave this Godforsaken city
If I make the move I'll have the luxury of transfering with my job back to socal if I don't like the city
Florida not offering those salaries. 50% of the workforce in Florida makes less than $15.00 per hour.$2K to rent a month? You'll be a king in Florida at that price. Trust me.
i live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, apartment for 2k, in NYC
30-40 minutes from mid town,
