Started 3 days ago and whatever excess belly fat I had is already pretty much gone

If I want a 6 pack should I continue this or ramp it up?

:dead: but I'll feed the troll.

Just eat at a caloric deficit and get your cardio on point.

Russian twists are another great core exercise, also you can take a 45 pound plate and do crunches with that.

Some detractors will bytch that crunches aren't good for your lumbar but fukk it, i've never noticed any problems from them

Six packs also depend a little on your muscle insertions, but almost anybody can achieve what most people consider a six pack by eating less and burning enough calories so you're at a caloric deficit

How important is drinking lots of water? I've been told by more than one person, drinking a Gallon of water daily is crucial. (Of course eating clean goes without saying )

So why care about the transverse abdominis?

Since the TVA acts as a muscular girdle, it stabilizes your pelvis and provides more support against outside forces. It protects against repetitive physical stresses from various motions your body makes such as twisting, bending, running, squatting, etc. A strong TVA will help you transfer force more efficiently through the muscles, rather than through your back and joints, thus aiding in the prevention and reduction of aches and pains caused by related forces.

That all sounds good, but what about that bikini/beach ready body that was mentioned in the first part of this article?

Not only does a developed transverse abdominis muscle help protect your back and joints during movement, but a strong and well developed TVA also equates to a tighter, slimmer waist.

changing my diet and excessive cardio have given me a six pack and I never work my abs anymore, I hardly lift anymore for that matter. Back in college I used to eat like shyt and sit in the gym trying to do crunches/weights not getting the results I wanted in the mid section and couldn't put 2 and 2 together.

yeah, you can train hard 7 days a week, if you eat like shyt your physique won't improve...I'd wager that you have the obliques and everything, but you're not gonna see them shyts with 20lbs of fat covering them :manny:

and i hope you don't look like john goodman either :heh:
