Damn. They're (the park) done. He should've stopped the ride and checked his damn self. How you got a patron doing that shyt...He needs to catch a manslaughter charge as well

quicker ride turn around and less mistakes with these. ride operators can quickly see who has their safety harness on or off. Seatbelts that completely rely on the rider to buckle don't stand out as much and can lead to mistakes by the rider.

some of the newer versions all 4 harnesses come down at once. So even quicker.

not sure if they are safer (otherwise we wouldn't be talking about this).

Terrible way to go, no time to prepare at all. Once second your having some fun on a ride, all of a sudden you're flung into the air and you barely get a second to react before it all ends.

Hopefully he/she at least went quick and didn't suffer.

I'm ngl, those seats looked slippery. Maybe his harness wasn't tightly enough...and I think weigh may have played a factor too. If you're heavy you'll have more downforce and it's more possible that you can slip out.

Damn, I hope the parent and all riders on that ride sue that park into closure. This the first time I’ve seen anyone capture a video like this and it is as traumatic as I thought..the sound of the person hitting the concrete and the realization of the other riders was absolutely heartbreaking. I would never be able to get on a ride again if I was to witness that
