A New York seventh grader was fatally shot at point blank range outside his apartment building Friday and police are searching for the gunman.
Christopher Duran, 14, and his younger brother were on their way to school in the Bronx when he was targeted.

Christopher was shot three times in the stomach and once in the head around 8.30am. just steps away from his apartment building on Sheridan Avenue,ABC reports.
According to the Daily News, the baby-faced youngster cried out 'Mommy, mommy' as he died.

Everybody grows up with a little nikka like this kid. The allure and status of the street of being down and popular is really what gets them. They swear they the hardest till they get hit with a reality check, unfortunately that reality check can even mean death as we saw in this kids case.

There was one when I was in 9th grade dude swore he was Blood, tried to give another Blood a pound one day after school except this nikka was authentic and g-checked him asked him who he was repping and what set he came from.

This was around the time a lot of nikkas was false flagging and OG Mack had Bloods g-checking nikkas citywide

Dude literally had the copping pleas he got his ass beat...to my BX nikkas from Roosevelt all the way down to Fordham Plaza.

If I'm gang banging, I'm staying strapped. When my best friend got murdered, I kept TWO revolvers on me at all times just so I wouldn't have to worry about reloading and I ain't tryna drop shell casings and leave evidence.
