a lot of dudes that i know that grew up to be good dudes, were like this kid at some point. playing the gangster to look cool pretty much. one of my closest friends was a blood til he was around 22. one of the wildest dudes i ever met at first. then he had a change of heart and changed his life around and got a good job.

point being, this kid, like lots of others in the hood, didnt get a chance to grow out of it.

on the one hand part of me thinks of him as a lost cause, but on the other he was only 14.

I personally feel sorry for lil man and his family
Anybody that grew up in the hood knows how easy it is to get caught up in the streets..
For me personally sports kept me off those corners and even then when all my friends started hustling a lot of them out of necessity, at a young age you tend to do what your friends are doing and I was definitely tempted.

I use this analogy a lot with ppl thats not familiar with the hood...if you plant 2 sets of flowers, with one it gets plenty sunlight and rain with the other set its in a shaded area and gets minimum rain. The 1st set just about all those flowers are gonna bloom, but with the 2nd set you lucky if half bloom and that basically sums up the hood.

I remember my freshman yr in HS, 1st day we're at orientation and the speaker said "look to your left then your right" odds are only one of you are going to go all 4 yrs here and graduate...and out of the I think maybe around 700 of us it was, around like 300 and something graduated

Its so much deeper then knowing right from wrong

my uncle lives on that side of the concourse....that whole hood is fukking mess. Everytime im riding by im just like so many young knuckleheads flooding the front of almost every storefront you see, just with a glance you can tell its a fukked up neighborhood to live in

- we as black people do not have free will
- there are no poor whites

To the ones that said he deserved to die. If that's the case then none of us deserved to live. When we was younger we did A LOT of stupid shyt. We should thank GOD he gave us mercy because we are all pieces of shut that eventually learn how to live on this earth peacefully. Some learn at 15 years old, some at 30 years old.
