Maaan.....when my dad died, and the bewllshyt they were saying at his funeral, that shyt had me HOT. Long story short, my dad was rarely around, and when he was, he was either high or drunk. Always lied about picking us up, used to be beat my mom, all the typical loser shyt dudes like that do. I only went because I felt it was my duty as his oldest child to put him to his final resting place. No matter what, he was my dad, and I had to learn something from him, so I learned not to be like him. Anyways, when they were up there talking about how he was a good man, and found God, I had to simply walk the fukk out, pissed, thinking to myself, "who in the fukk are they talking about". Then, I just had to realize, these people speaking about him, didn't really know who he was and I just had to accept they were full of shyt and didn't even know it.

Apparently he was really in the streets. His set was affiliated with the Crips and the dude that killed him had a red bandana on. Most people think it was cuz he threatened a blood member and then they just killed him

Yes. I also have to say that unfortunate stories such as this one serves as a reminder of how it's silly for certain people to glorify the hood as being something great when it's not. What is positive about a community that breeds dysfunction and hopelessness?

Chris Brown and others like him suffer from an identity crisis that makes them want to portray that hood image that's not really them. But, we have to remember that the root of this which is the glorification of the hood image.
