here’s a funny but random AF Eddie Guerrero story (sort of second hand):

When we found out he died in 2005 i was playing college football. A few brehs were talking about it and one of the seniors says “man fukk Eddie Guerrero” :pacspit:

We all look at him like :dahell:

And he tells a story that he and his uncle went to a show a few years previously and then after the show they ended up at the same restaurant as the wrestlers somehow. His uncle walks up to them and says :skip: “we just saw your show... great job” or some corny shyt. And then he says “hey you’re Eddie Guerrero” and apparently Eddie gets up and says “yea I’m Eddie Guerrero” :myman: and smacks the taste outta his mouth and says “welcome to the biz” and everyone at the table started laughing.

I don’t know if how i told it gives it justice but when homie was telling us he was dead serious about disliking Eddie. We all hit the :mjlol: :deadmanny: when he was done telling he story

One of a kind talent :mjcry:

He had the Terry Funk gene of making everything he was involved with worth a watch. The fact he died in the middle of his peak as an overall performer hurt more than most wrestling deaths :to:

Man the eerie shyt was that SvR 05 came out the day after his death and featured a storyline where he's controlling Undertaker with the urn and ends with him getting chokeslammed into a casket at Survivor Series.
That sounds very eerie, my younger brother thought Undertaker killed when he played on the SVR 05 storyline. SvR 07 between Undertaker and Benoit.

Eddie was legit my favorite active superstar at that time. I used to play Here Comes the Pain as Eddie or John Cena and do that entire season where you become WWE Champion. So that gives you an idea of how crazy hyped I was when he became WWE Champion, the idea of beating Brock even with knowing of a possible Goldberg interference was so far fetched.

I was crazy gutted when he passed :mjcry:

Idk breh. I met Eddie at the show he talks about being the first show out of rehab. I was training at the time so i was doing ring crew and met him before the show. He couldnt have been nicer and more uplifiting. He became my all time favorite that day. Put on a classic with Low-Ki that night too :blessed:
