Typical fast twitch muscle guy :manny: same thing that makes him explosive makes him fade a bit quicker. :manny:

Just like the other SOG and fellow Cuban Yoel Romero if you follow the UFC...

:russ:..my views on cuban boxing withstanding...this is a 38 year old gamboa who hasn't defeated any top 10 fighter without controversy in quite some time...he is getting bodied tomorrow night

Highly possible but it will be fun while it lasts:manny: . Gamboa might still have decent power (the same power that rocked ESPN p4p #1) It’s the perfect fight to bring to a new fight city (recent years) Atlanta. I still remembered the uninspiring performance in the May/McGregor co-main.

Deep waters for Gamboa just means anything after the fourth round.:heh:

I’m just going buy what he his trainer saying :hubie:

I’m just hoping for the best :lupe:

Nah i dont follow ufc ima casual when it comes to mma but the few McGregor fights ive seen is another example of fast twitch muscle guy. Very explosive and dangerous early not so much as the fight goes on. Not really anything you can do for it either shyt is genetics :francis:

I hope they at least let Gamboa juice up, I know Roman Martinez is washed but Gamboa looked explosive as fukk vs him and in another gear compared to the Gamboa vs Sosa/Castellanos. Lets see Tank deal with some speed and power coming back at him.

Salute.
People wanna talk about ‘tank’, that’s a motherfukker with a real tank. Put in that work inside and outside the ring.

Caught up with Stephen Espinoza before the weigh-in drama. Talked about a myriad of things from fighter complacency, building around Tank, Fox potentially taking their talent and PEDs.

Even got some light Jay slander when he gave me his Top 5:russ:

I get that he, Ellerbe, Floyd, etc. whoever is a stakeholder in Davis have to talk the hype shyt about his potential but I'm wondering whether they are really that confident in him or not given that dude is mad unprofessional at just 25, was short even for 130 but now he has a hard time even making 135 and on top of all that he gets into out of ring fukkeries too time to time. So I'm wondering how honest are they when they talk about him as a future superstar and a P4P great.
The talent is there but the talent is there for some other dudes too who seem to be more level headed and focused on their craft. Meaning Haney, Ennis, Ortiz, Lopez, etc. I'd say even Shakur despite his earlier fukkeries out of the ring.
