I get that he, Ellerbe, Floyd, etc. whoever is a stakeholder in Davis have to talk the hype shyt about his potential but I'm wondering whether they are really that confident in him or not given that dude is mad unprofessional at just 25, was short even for 130 but now he has a hard time even making 135 and on top of all that he gets into out of ring fukkeries too time to time. So I'm wondering how honest are they when they talk about him as a future superstar and a P4P great.
The talent is there but the talent is there for some other dudes too who seem to be more level headed and focused on their craft. Meaning Haney, Ennis, Ortiz, Lopez, etc. I'd say even Shakur despite his earlier fukkeries out of the ring.
I think at this stage it's more hopeful optimism from them than anything. Being able to move tickets like he has so young will ensure he gets more leeway than most. He's still young enough to correct these issues but it can go either way. He's really in no man's land if he can't make it work at 135 because I think he'd be food at 140.
