What fight were you humans watching? Harrison got whooped. Yea in the middle rounds he was boxing well, but he wasn't trying to win. The hardest he fought all night was when Jack Reese stopped the fight. As I knew the results, I didn't score it, but the FOX scorecard was bad IMO. FOX is already as bad as prime HBO with trying to craft a narrative.

Charlo fought pretty well, he's gotta get out of him emotions though.
I think he got outboxed badly rounds 7-11. He was gassed and was losing at distance with thr longer reach. I knew the knockout was coming by round 9.

I agree with charlo way too emotional that shyt ain't cool for a 30 year old man, I can see when we was 16. Harrison was clearly trying to sell the fight

If a Nigerian becomes a baseball star, it's over :whew:

Not the biggest NFL fan, are there any legit Nigerian football players?
Nnamdi Asomugha was good for a while.

And of course, the Nigerian nightmare Christian Okoye (running back for the Chief back in the 90's), was pretty good before retiring due to injuries.

If you show any hint of "slickness" the coli judges will give you rounds and say you are outboxing someone, dude was getting beat up towards the end and fading but according to this board Harrison was boxing Charlo's ears off, shyt was crazy. Same shyt happened on this board during the Harrison/Hurd fight, folks get too caught up in a narrative and don't pay attention to the way a fight changes.

Harrison's laize faire approach is what lost it for him IMO. He had a mean ass 1-2 in the 2nd or 3rd round.........and NEVER THREW IT AGAIN!

These cats get a belt and want to play sparring. It's like he thought he could win throwing 3 connect jabs a round :dahell:

He got a robbery win and a knock out loss, good riddance. Dope boxer though

I'll be first to tag you once Charlo is popped for performance enhancements :sas2:

Secondly Charlo knows he was getting whipped until that hook bailed him out. Breh doesn't want to give Harrison a rematch after talking all of that smoke of wanting to go again to get the strap back in the first place. He was expecting the same Harrison from the first fight, while Charlo is the same fighter he has been. I believe Harrison saying his conditioning was bad due to layoff, his team had an excellent game plan.

He did sell the fight, casuals tuned in only because of him. Damn shame too because he was going to get robbed for his services.

Charlo proved my prediction right but honestly I thought Harrison was whupping his ass the majority of the fight.
Blocking most of Charlo punches, walking him down when he got on his bike, digging to the body, and landing right hands. Harrison fought WAY better in this fight compared to the first
Crazy that Harrison was losing on the cards tho, by multiple rounds even :francis:
I think they should have a third fight

Far as Spence, he looked kind of bad to me. He still has cuts, swelling, and a black eye from an accident that was months ago. Probably means there was some serious swelling and damage done. I couldn't tell because of his new haircut but his forehead seemed kind of swollen too.
If PBC puts him out there in May they really will be ruining him imo. Spence said he turned down big money from TR cause Haymon promised to take care of him after boxing. Well it's time for Haymon to put his money where the mouth is. They better not try to "cash out" on Spence if he's damaged goods. The no tune up shyt sounds like a cash out since they might not want to risk him looking bad against a jobber. Manny or Crawford would end that dude if it's any kind of delayed motor skills or even bad scar tissue :francis:

His speech was a bit slurred, that could be due to his new teeth though, trying to adjust to those feels almost like talking with a mouth guard in. Could be reaction from pain meds, or worst case scenario is brain damage from head injury suffered :manny:. I dont think he would be cleared to fight in a major sanction if that was the case tho.

That's just an opinion. The punch stats were too close to have anyone winning a landslide..

Exactly. Tony was winning sure...But he wasn't walking away with the fight. Judges were prolly giving Charlo credit for throwing more and being aggressive, which nikkas can't complain about since the last fight the judges were giving rds to Tony for boxing, even tho he was getting outworked.

All Mell did was carry Tony fast an eventually it worked. Harrison couldn't keep up and over the course of the fight his boxing got weaker, leaving him vulnerable for big shots.

Even though Harrison is the champ, he’s getting half the payday that Charlo is receiving. According to ESPN, Charlo will earn a $1 million purse, while Harrison will make $500,000.

glad to see the Charlo’s finally touchin M’s. Daniel Jacobs must be proud.
