I do agree the DAZN Canelo fights have been lackluster for the most part. Not his fault though, there’s levels to this shyt ... and no one seems to be on his at the moment. I mean who else does he have to face to get credit where it’s due

Fact of the matter is, Callum Smith was the king of the super middleweight division prior to this fight, and a lot of knowledgeable boxing head in this very thread predicted he would be competitive, and possibly win.

He’s everything Canelo likes on his dinner plate: tall (so he can tear his body out the frame), no real power (so he can pressure him all night), and slow (so he can just beat the sh*t out of him ). I didn’t think it would be a spectacular knockout happening but I definitely thought Canelo would wash him up all night, which he did.
