Crawford had the opportunity to sign with Haymon and declined.

He chose to stay with Arum(an old cac that's known for robbing black fighters).

Don’t know if it’s typical of all espn fights since I’m usually home watching
But this fight was on in EVERY Bar and restaurant I went in or rode by tonight
My casual friend called me as I was parking and said “yo it’s a fight on in here”
For all the criticism of the promotion and the opponent this was a really good showcase for Crawford and exactly the kind of fight casuals want to see
The spot I was in tonight was full of people who probably don’t give a shyt about boxing and everyone was glued in on this fight :yeshrug:
Honestly I think TR needs to just scrap espn+ Bouts and just focus on getting casuals with these kind of matches on regular espn

Company man to the max, wouldn't even blame a PBC fighter if they slapped the shyt outta Timmy if they see him out and about

Timmy learning from the book of Teddy atlas..ward standing there looking like he wanna ask nikkas "bean pie my brother?" :russ:

This was one of the worse showings of Bud, it seemed like he was more flat-footed than usually and instead of making an adjustment and solving the opponent just like that it seemed he rather forced his way. He still got the job done and wasn't in real danger of losing, Kavaliauskas won 2 maybe 3 rounds but he made it harder for Bud than it was expected. I hope this is not Bud being on the slide already but simply a bit of an off night. He still had the killer instinct what he always had and finished the show impressive but fair play to Kavaliauskas, he was a lot better than I expected.
As far as that KD/no-KD situation goes I think the ref was right, Bud was rather pulled, pushed to the ground than going down from the previous shots, he didn't look disorganized and hurt when the action continued.
Hopefully he gonna be sharper when he goes against the likes of Porter or Spence.

He's a good friend of Crawford that's been known and so far the problem was ESPN/TR not putting themselves in line enough to demand the big 147 fights to Crawford. Now that they do that's the problem?

Man stop, don't defend that bullshyt. Saying that Wilder is the only real man at a rival promotional company because he's fighting a Top Rank fighter? Stop playing devil's advocate for the sake of playing devil's advocate, knock it off and do better.

Also impressive showing from Lopez, admittedly I thought Commey gonna break him down and stop him, I didn't like at all how Lopez handled even a less impressive showing against Nakatani, it sounded like all his confidence lost. Well he proved it wasn't, fair play to him. Still think Loma beats him but I'm interested in that fight now.

Herein lies the issue with ESPN......They think boxing is one of the four majors....it's not.

If you look at their presentation, the intros, the setup stories, the announcers...they try to make every fight into a story, very NFLish, and it's simply not. BC of that you end up with a lot of dead time between fights, which really kills the mood of the fight. DAZN guilty of the same shyt when Canelo fights.
