I don't know, man. I see the talent, but still feel like the skill set is a lil raw. Haney should be fighting 3-4 times a year, and I don't think he needs to rush into a fight against Tank or Teo yet.

he's skilled, but if you got a frame to grow into, imo You should be getting cats out the paint at these lower weights. Granted I'm a casual so I could just be talking out of my ass, but idk man.

I agree

He should outdo what Tank did

Tank damn near went life and death with Gamboa :mjlol:. Gamboa fought tonight to not get ko'd imo. One thing I noticed with Haney is that he doesnt turn over his punches at times, takes a lot off of his power. Thats on his pops though :francis:. Haney has the best tools out of these guys imo/would be even stronger at higher weight

We don't know if Teo can beat him bc he ducked Dev and he has yet to fight against anyone with Dev's style. But after this fight I know he can't beat Tank bc he don't have enough power to keep Tank off him. He needs to get way stronger before a Tank Davis fight.

Teo has pop too though. Devin could maybe get Teo on points if he can avoid power punches and keeps the gas on the pedal. Tank is taking Devins head off though

Y'all sounding like some casual expect better out of the ring, a knockout would have been good but he clearly out boxed him the entire fight. Gamboa held the whole fight :gucci:

Shakur Stevenson beats all these guys...including Haney, Loma, Gary Russell,
Haney has pillow hands and is a boring fighter, that is why no one wants to fight him. He brings nothing.

Fans - Nope
Excitement - Nope
Power - Nope
Money - Nope

Bullshyt...if he was easy work they would beat him and put his name on the resume. They don't because his style is difficult to beat

Talked so much about how he was gonna beat him worst than anyone else did (as if that's an impressive feat over a 40 year old dude coming off a broken ankle and a loss). Devin is the least impressive out of the young lightweights. Next floyd? idk about that. This fight didn't help him at all and in fact, probably hurt his stock. When cherry picking goes wrong. Sad.

Umm that's what Devin shoulda done IF he wanted to elevated his standing amongst his peers (outdo Tank)

He failed to do that
:mjlol: how u supposed to outdo a fight with a knockout when Gamboa refused to come forward. I never seen Gamboa fight like this

Its called hate, that's how you know Devin the real deal

HE took zero damage

Crawford did the stank league against Gamboa, Tank was getting touched up by Gamboa on one leg, Devin took zero damage

He didn't have to turn to a mexican and throw caution to the wind to get a KO like Davis and Crawford did

They both will go into dog mode, Devin got the maturity already to stick to boxing and let the KO come

the fact Gamboa didn't do shyt, or try to press the action shows you he was clearly dominated by Devin and out classed, and was content just getting out box, even on one leg Gamboa thought he could beat Tank, he just gave up in this fight and held Devin like a veteran

Devin will easily beat Tank like he already made him quit in Dog House sparring

Tank get hit way too much, and the upper cut he landed on Santa Cruz he can only land on a basic ass fighter like Santa Cruz who threw the same punch three times in a row lmao

Tank had two black eyes after Gamboa fight lmao, and people think Devin did worst lmao
