Believe me, I've been to arenas all across the country. Kobe brings the people out like no other breh. Bron and them can't even pack their own arena for the damn NBA finals. I went to game 6 last year where people left early and there were empty seats in my section.

Kobe is bigger globally as well. Look at the response Kobe got in China for the olympics.
