the main roster travels on a weekly basis. they don't film in a studio in front of 200 people for free

the main roster makes more than $40,000-$100,000 per year (NXT average salary)

until those two FACTS change, NXT is not the "main roster"

Something tells me that womens match was changed to the Main Event at the last minute

I bet the original plan was to have Roman end the night but were afraid he would get heavily boo'd beating an Indy darling in front of a Smark Chicago crowd

They also used Keith Lee as a prop because he was the lesser of the smark NXT stars (Ciampa or Riddle...Roman would have gotten booed terribly)

Should of went with their gut and finish with that match regardless.

He would of got his face pop back once he gives Lee the dap after the match.

NXT is the minor league roster of WWE no matter how hard some fans try and spin it. NXT actually LOSES money for WWE on a yearly basis. they lose MILLIONS of dollars (check the public financials)

again, until NXT travels on a weekly basis and until their talent makes "real" money, they are NOT the "main roster". that's the reality of the situation. that doesn't mean they suck or anything like that. it just means they are not the main roster.
