the idea of Becky was better than the result. The only good match she's had since this run started was hell in a cell against Sasha

The issue was, they did what they always do with NXT callups. They don't replicate their stories on the main, and establish who they are. They drop them in the water and expect them to survive. But Bayley was a grown babyface - someone who had to go through an arc to evoke emotion. When she did, it fukking worked. But she's not a microwavable talent who is a catchphrase away. They hotshot that shyt and it does not work for NXT babyfaces. It just fukking doesn't.

Look at Sami. Same story. Sami Zayn was the heart and soul of NXT, and they brought him up and half-assed it instead of just doing the Zayn/Owens thing for a new audience. And for people who need those kinds of things to get made... yeah. Vince likes his shortcuts too much because long-term booking doesn't exist.

The problem with this match is that it is not properly paced to be the closing match of a PPV.

Either they needed to book this to be a more fast-paced spot-fest or this one should have happened earlier in the night.
