I think it'll happen. Christian is more active than either Sting or Hardy, and he could have a good feud with Jungle Boy.

Yeah, against 90% or so of wrestlers, we'd probably be raving about MJF's promo despite the chaff in it. But this was definitely a big dog/little dog situation where a vet showed a younger guy how far he really has to go. MJF did fine though.

This match is way too long, which makes me think it's by design (also, giving MJF a little bit since he just talked about Punk having trouble putting guys away). I wonder if it'll continue to be played as a rust/age/fatigue thing, or if it'll eventually transition to a strategy thing (which WOULD fit with Punk's penchant for long ass matches in the past).

And of course, Ross mentions his performance right as I finish writing this post.

Yeah, like most have said that match had no business going past the commercial break so it better be part of the angle. MJF going headlock heavy against Punk is gonna be really interesting but it is the kind of challenge Punk loves so I'm intrigued.
