There is not one person in this thread or elsewhere who will say tonight’s version of Shawn Porter was the best Porter (or even close). His style is his style but he was clearly slower and less athletic. And Crawford still had problems with him.

zHe’s always been a gatekeeper but that’s his permanent assignment at this point. He just needs to retire though.

Spence has better defense than Porter and he doesn't lunge. Those counters won't be there.

I wouldn't even be mad if Spence won the fight. I like Spence. He's a good dude. But when I watch both guys, I just see spence making way more fatal mistakes defensively. He just hasn't fought anybody who could really hurt him.

And on top of that I still don't think Spence is the same fighter after that crash. He needs to take another fight before facing bud cause he didn't look his best against Danny Garcia and got hit way too much in the 2nd half. If he's that wide open vs bud he's gonna get hurt bad.
