10-7 round and it’s would have got worse
He 34 he tryna live to fight another day
Fight was lost, only reason to continue was for a moral victory
was no longer going to win a decision, was only on the verge of being stopped. i understand his decision, even if he didn't want to give the real reason for it.

I mean you watched that fight and came away with Bud being on the same level? I could see him beating Thurman sure. But I don't see him beating Spence. Bud looked very vulnerable to me.
What? I thought he was above them..I said he was the most accomplished and skilled american fighter today breh...off eye test...ppl should have been giving him more respect

Crawford that guy but shidd Boots and Ortiz got a great shot to beat him. :manny: They got more 1 punch power than Spence even tho Spence got enough to get him out there too.

He there to be hit. If he still there late in the fight that’s your ass your best shot is to bomb him out in the first 7 or 8 rounds. I know he would rather trade punches with Spence than Ortiz.

nikkas in here are now acting like Crawford wasn't getting worked by Porter in this fight. :heh:

I don't remember Porter ever hurting Spence like he did Crawford in this fight. :heh:
It was a real test but yeah..Porter pushed him hard. But he did do what we expected...adapted and catch him coming in.

styles make fights :unimpressed:. Crawford going always give up early rounds
Bud looking mid in the first half and knocking nikkas out in the 2nd half has been going on for how many years now?
Crawford was never in trouble tho and clearly in control majority of the rounds
Put money in the bank then cashed it out in the championship rounds

He did the right thing if he saw his son not getting back from that, but I can't help but feel bad for Shawn. Feel like he deserved to go out on his terms considering he was bringing it to Bud.
Just by nature of his fighting style Porter would take in a lot of long lasting damage when he fades in a fight against someone that's still fresh and can put together combinations, and/or is past prime.
