This totally destroys Lesnar kayfabe wise. Got squashed by a 50 year old guy that hasn't wrestled since George W. Bush's first term.

It really doesn't at all.

Goldberg is a fukking legend, Brock had to lose someone.

This was a match for the casuals, people that haven't watched wrestling in YEARS tuned in tonight to watch Goldberg win. They promoting it on ESPN etc. He wasn't losing.

They don't give a fukk about a "streak" and working body parts and shyt. They just wanna see some cool moves and drink their beers.

fukk these neckbeards, I'm starting to despise that part of the fan base of wresting. Muthafukkas forgot WHY we all started liking this shyt as kids. Everything ain't got to be tied in to some booking logic blah blah blah, just enjoy the goddamn show for fukks sake.

Overall show was disappointing and ruined by bad booking

Match of the night was the tag team elimination and the RAW vs Sd men's match

Cesaro , AJ, KO, Y2J , Usos , Sami and Nia Jax were all stars tonight

Cesaro and Shame taking the straps from new day tonight I bet

I still don't see it with Braun or Corbin smh

Shouts to Kendrick and Kalisto for putting on a good match crowd was dead tho time to move CW to NXT and 205 Live smh

Goldberg looked legit tonight hoping for s face off in the Rumble between brock and him ...than final match at WM

When he shoved Brock to the mat I was :ohhh:

I think TLC will be dope especially if Sami gets fired from RAW and goes over to feud with miz

you're in your feelings because you wish Taker didn't lose and bc of that you refuse to see what ending the streak did for Brock's PERCEPTION.

That set him up to have a legitimate monster title run which in turn gave Seth Rollins and Roman, at that time, more credibility in facing him.

You're LYING if you don't think Brock was a "must see" attraction after ending the streak.

Whatever good came from the breaking the streak was wasted by the time they got to WM the next year and didn't pull the trigger on Roman beating him. And his monster run and must see attraction has nothing to do with the streak, and everything to do with him coming back to WWE as a REAL fighter who might beat the shyt out of people for real, and getting main stream attention because he was a draw for a real sport. Plus that you only see him 2-3 times a year and it's always a special event. Breaking the streak meant less than the utter destruction of John Cena, which that too was wasted the very next month when Cena not only didn't take time off, but had a rematch where he had Brock about to tap before Seth caused a DQ for no reason at all.

The streak didn't start meaning shyt until 10 matches in. We really pretending that a streak that includes wins over luminaries like 46 year old Jimmy Snuka, King Kong Bundy, Giant Gonzalez, Sid, near death Big Boss Man, A-TRAIN, etc means much?

The streak ended, Taker continued on as if nothing happened, got his win back, and is still booked exactly the same as he was before he lost it. The streak meant nothing in the end. And that was well before Goldberg came back.

All this talk about them "wasting" the beat-the-guy-who-broke-the-streak rub on a 50-year old, etc.

:stopitslime: nobody gives a fukk about the streak anymore. That ship has long since sailed. Anyone who beat Lesnar at this point would not be benefiting at all from the Undertaker's streak. Beating Lesnar is a big deal in and of itself, and it still would be a huge deal if some full-time roster jaybrone beats Lesnar in the future. Him taking an L (the wrestling equivalent of a flash KO at that) to one of the most op characters in the history of wrestling (in kayfabe) doesn't change that.

If anything it makes Lesnar more interesting and useful going forward. His unbeatable monster run was beyond stale.

Stale or not, he wasn't being booked as unbeatable since breaking the streak for no reason. It was meant to give Reigns the rub and they fukked it all up just because they didn't heel Reigns up for the WM 31 match. Lazy complacent bi polar booking is how we got to this point. It's just funny to ANYONE that a guy who was gone for a decade just came back and decimated a guy they didn't let Cena or Reigns get decent offense on:laugh:

Yea I hate these dudes now. They're the type who doesn't like seeing Tyson knock people out in 35 seconds. They want everything to be a technical masterpiece

Stephanie is such a hypocrite, here is a quote from her a couple of years back:

"In addition to that with UFC you can pay money to watch a pay-per-view and it can be a terrible fight. Right?

What like Brock/Goldberg was?

"The guy you were really rooting for that UFC has been building as a star gets knocked right off and suddenly that person doesn't really matter anymore and all that investment is lost."

How many guys have we seen this happen to over the years?

"You never have that with WWE. We strategically build all of our Superstars and characters and we build characters and make them these megastars, it's all very intentional and you're guaranteed to get your money's worth."

So much wrong with this.

"It might not necessarily be the outcome you want, but you're guaranteed to have a great match, to have a great pay-per-view and you're guaranteed to be entertained."

Great match? Great PPV? Be entertained? What are you smoking Steph? And where can I get some?
