Of course the chin isn’t as good but it’s not like Kovalev has taken this crazy punishment in his career hasn’t fluctuated in weight. Going against a guy that has 1 KO above 154. Guess I’m just skeptical and the fight was terrible.
If any of the guys canelo fought above 154 get hit with that same shot they all go to sleep. There's a reason little g, Jacob's, and Chavez Jr fought canelo defensively. Dude's power is legit.

1 of these three things are true

1. Kovalev took a dive
2. Kovalev all of a sudden can’t take punches at all and shots that he blocked put him out cold
3. A Canelo that could knockdown Jacobs, GGG or Lara is his strongest he’s ever been and punching hardest at a weight that’s 20 lbs bigger than his natural fighting division.
4. Canelo is the second best fighter of the past 20 years.
I didn't think Canelo could KO him(I stated such earlier in the thread) but Kovalev got knocked silly by Eleider Alvarez and E. Alvarez isn't a heavy puncher at all. Dude's chin and overall durability is faded at this point, Canelo and his team knew what they were doing picking him to fight.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Man, dudes getting killed left and right in this sport and brehs talking about taking a dive by having your jaw jettisoned to the upper room? Is this what it’s come to? :gucci:

First, Kovalev was already exhausted. When you’re fatigued that exponentially increases your ability to be hurt. We just saw Yarde knocked out with a fukking jab just because he was tired as shyt.

Second, Kovalev was already hurt. The right hand hurt him first. The left caught him up top of the head, and the rest is history.

Third, boxing discussions online are terrible. There’s legit not one decent place to have a boxing discussion online. Boxing is such an individual sport that people latch onto this or that guy, and then don’t like this or that guy for whatever reason (typically the reason is related to their favorite in someway). Instead of just ignoring the dude they don’t like — they try to poison the waters but act like they’re being objective. Mofos posting with a clear ass agenda and doing it under the guise of being “objective.” :gucci:

Virgil hunter already said he wouldn't let ward take that canelo fight without a couple tuneups first. He said ward would dominate but he still has enough for respect for canelo to not take him lightly. So I can't see it happening. Maybe one tuneup fight but not two. I just don't think andre wants to put that much time into the grind anymore. He's focused on other shyt now.

So you don’t have any biases, also I’ve had Canelo p4p since the first Triple G fight which I scored for him, but tonight’s fight looked off.
