Watched the replay. EVERY match except for Baker/Saraya was good-to-great. With the exception of Joe & Jericho, everyone that needed to go over went over. The event DID feel like it was a soft reset in terms of the direction of the company, which was desperately needed since it's felt like the Punk situation/Brawl Out investigation fukked up whatever Tony had planned and the main shows all suffered as a result.

Hopefully Mox is able to take a long ass vacation now. Breh has been carrying and being the pillar of stability for the company most of the year and, honestly, needs a little time away.

But fukk everything else, JAMIE HAYTER IS THE CHAMPION. Strip Thunder Rosa and make the belts unified you coward. @Tony Khan

shyt, TK has been probably booking on the fly since Punk got hurt in June. They've needed a reset for months.

shyt that was back in like late April I think because Moxley won the title at the Forbidden Door PPV near the end of May and there was only like one month between Punk winning and the Forbidden Door PPV.

And the Forbidden Door PPV being made official kinda came “last minute” so they couldn’t build a bigger gap between PPVs to help build that one up. So they just had to hot shot nearly everything for it and abandon mostly anything outside of that.

I don’t think having the Forbidden Door show was a bad idea at all long term, but the timing they had to work with wasn’t ideal and hurt the product in the immediate.

So essentially over half the year has been fukked up between a slew of injuries and CM Punk being a jackass.

Double or Nothing was the end of May, Punk got hurt in the beginning of June, Forbidden Door was the end of June.
