Nobody hates Sammy. His weakness are just exposed with them pushing him unfortunately. He's not a good wrestler. The epitome of flippy guy that can flip. No facial expression, selling, psychology, promos, gimmick or anything but he's pushed so ignore all that. This is part of the issue with neckbeards saying there isn't any black rasslers ready for a push. What's Sammy ready to do? Lio Rush should easily be elevated over both Jungle Boy and Sammy. They're all in their mid 20s.

Not all criticism is hate….. indeed. But the problem is. Too many haters try to hide and mask they hate in their criticism and they align themselves with the “we’re not all…” camp so the lines get blurred.

With that said, I guess for me I get confused when I hear “he not a good wrestler” and I’m always asking in my head “in comparison to who?”

There are so many styles or ways to wrestle and niccas make it like he Nathan Jones out there in the ring.

Also if Lio Rush was there from day one…. Yes I agree, I think he’d easily be elevated over the names named but damn…. He just got back like 2 months ago in comparison to day one guys.

He’s still young, but I’d like him to work on slowing down and telling a story alongside the flips

Funny enough Sammy is a dude who would have done well in old NXT. Not having a PC in AEW hurts guys like him. Talented but he don't know what to do with it.

Bryan Danielson turned himself heel in a single promo and then compounded it by managing to not only turn Evil fukking Uno into a babyface getting cheered for, but had a compelling match with mans built like a bowling shoe rental attendant.
