Shakur is an unlikable bozo. Hus hype train slowly rolling to a stop.

Thats the real problem here. Before the last year or so I was a pretty big fan of him just off his ability but this last year of twitter fingers has almost made me want to see him lose if he going to put out stinkers like this all while talking big shyt. People call Haney boring but at least he willing to get in the line of fire and you can tell he got dog in him how he went out after Loma in some of them rounds.

also for as good as a boxer Shakur is his lack of infighting is pretty striking.

This nikka love attention

Shakur's skillset can't be denied. Dude is damn near perfect. And he really could beat anybody with that type of performance every night.

But his cautiousness against heavier punchers leads me to believe there might be a vulnerability there. Maybes he's been hurt in training before and it's making him second guess himself. He's done this in the past and ward and Bradley got on him for it. And he got in his feelings. This reminded me of his earlier fights. And one of the reasons why I was late to the hype train. But it seemed like he turned a corner after the herring fight. Every fight he was looking mean and he was really looking like the second coming. So this was unexpected.

I'm gonna give him a pass for this one, but he still gotta take them jokes. You can't be poppin off on social media all the time and then put on that type of performance. When you're calling fighters bytches and pussies all over twitter you're just putting extra pressure on yourself every time you get in the ring. Can't really get mad when you welcomed this energy:yeshrug:

Hey man, they barely gave him props then. Once people have biases, they will confirm them.

From what I’ve seen the hate is fair based on this fight though. Fans won’t fukk with him until he delivers a Valdez level performance at a higher level.

@krackdagawd We won… but at what cost:sadcam:

He had an off night whether it was injury or whatever it is what it is.:manny: He will move forward and be fine, his support team is solid and he is a young guy. shyt he might get more fights now that people might start thinking they can get a win off him :mjlol:

After last night, I'm really leaning towards Tank stopping him. Tank always starts slow & then walks fighters down hunting them. He's also not afraid to take a shot to get his off either & wouldn't be concerned about Shakur's power. He has a whole different mindset than Dominican Ghost.
Yeah Idk if Shakur will fall for Tank's traps but I think tank may show him a lack of respect lol. They said Tank took one of Ryans shot's and went to the corner and was like "man he aint shyt"

DLS was fast as shyt and explosive And it was plain as day Shakur didn't wanna get caught slipping.

If Tank KO's him he will be on suicide watch. Same shyt that made Ryan quit rather than get KO'D. These dudes too insecure you see it with the social media rants.

Say what you want about Errol but that nikka was like I rather die than quit. Shakur or none of them nikkas would ever do that

Yeah, Shakur might to resign with Top Rank. I thought he should leave because of the bad promotion for this event, but dude might just have ruined his commercial viability with this fight. When you are about to leave a company you have to put on a great performance to increase your demand....he did the opposite and told people to turn off his fights off :dead:

Where else he getting 2-3 million for an event like this:

They hate Haney too but he can’t be denied :yeshrug:

Being Black American and a non KO Artist is instant dislike to the majority of Boxing fans. His style is not casual friendly.

He needs a dominant performance against one of the top guys. Boxing fans are very fickle.

Shakur needs to have a training camp where he spars like he's a Mexican fighter. Just start trading with dudes in the gym, embrace getting hit constantly

Watch the Marco Antonio Barrera vs. Erik Morales trilogy and the Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez's 4 fights
This is one of the secret ingredients Devin has over Shakur and Tank. Devin spent years in the Mayweather Gym as a kid watching multiple training camps of Floyd's. Doghouse rules helped shape him. Tank came towards the end of Floyd's career, so he understands that style of sparring in training camp too. It keeps you from being gun shy under them lights when heat coming back your way.
