Is there a reason why Brook didn't just fight Spence first, assuming Spence was highly ranked by the IBF at that point? Was the trash Bundu fight some kind of eliminator that prevented Spence from just getting a title shot against a whole Brook?
Brook tried to fight Vargas but TR served Vargas up to Manny instead so Hearns gave Brook the GGG fight.
Not sure how ppv works too much in europe but apparently the fight did damn near 800k buys in UK alone :merchant:, might have been as simple as a cash grab i guess

One of the dumbest things I’ve seen a promoter do to one of their best fighters in a big money division like 147. And Brook was dumb af for taking the fight. I think Eddie gave them the GGG fight out of spite to Chris Eubank bc they wanted more money.

I got Kell Brook by decision ... fighting all those bums going to catch up to Bud eventually. If Brook is anywhere near what he used to be it’s going to be a long night for Crawford. I have to go watch Brook last couple fights to gauge where he’s at though.

That's why I'm picking Brook, the amount of disresepct I seen towards him regarding this fight has been .

Crawford was an 18-1 favorite when I made my bet on this fight, like people are forgetting Brook is very capable of whooping Crawford's ass pillar to post in this fight, he has fought far more devestating punchers than Crawford and made a good account of himself, not to mention he is the naturally bigger man. There is a reason why in Crawford's pictures he been posting lately he been showing how much he has been trying to bulk up. This shyt has trap written all over it.

You know what...this seem like a setup fight for Bud with Top Rank wanting to get him up out of there. Remember Bob Arum said Bud should go to PBC if he wants the big fights (said it on Barbershop Conversations). TR ain’t going to let Bud leave with the belts and the ability to become a bigger star...and they seem to have Brook in the fold now because they cut Eddie Hearn out the deal. This could be TR way of pushing Bud out the door. I wouldn’t put it past them.

Crawford don't punch like GGG or Spence bro.

all his fights at 147 have been stoppages so he's punching power has carried up,

Kell Brook hasn't been in the ring with a real opponent since spence, I don't know why anyone thinks he has a chance against Bud, he gonna get beat up and stopped

And Bud ain't fought anyone since Viktor Postol, or maybe Felix Diaz, depending on how you view either fighter...is Bud's resume at 147 suppose to be impressive?

Jeff Horn - a certified fluke champ with zero skills and just tries to rough you up...very beatable. He's been stopped twice since that loss, including to Zerafa who loss to Kell Brook.

Jose Benavidez Jr - Literally has one good leg after getting shot in the other. He's not mobile so he a punching bag in there against any legit fighter. Easy W.

Amir Khan - .....Nuff said.

Egidijus Kavaliauskas - His only solid fight before that was right before, against Ray Robinson who many thoughts won and got robbed. That was a draw tho. He didn't even beat him but he fought Bud right after.

and yeah those guys are still light years better than the 3 bums brook fought at 154 since spence, he hasn't even had a fight at 147 in 3 years

How are they light years better when the BEST win Bud has at 147 is Horn that got KO'd by Zerafa, who Kell Brook beat convincingly? I'm sorry I can't give Bud the benefit of the doubt he gotta show me. He ain't done nothing at 147 and this would be a true test of his ability.

If this was pre GGG Brook then it would be extremely competitive. I don’t think at this stage of his career & going back down to 47 where he’ll more than likely be drained is basically setting himself up to fail or cash out. If he makes it to the second half of the fight Bud’s gonna beat him up bad bro.

I think it’ll be competitive the first 3 rounds & then he’s gonna get picked apart
