Yeah you could well be right. I was thinking more of what I want to happen rather than what will. I do think Adam Page has potential but I don’t think he’s there yet, I don’t think him being champ at this stage is a great idea as I wouldn’t say he’s one of their biggest stars yet and this is an important growth period still for the company. Bryan is capable of regular amazing matches but is a bigger star, he’s headlined multiple Wrestlemania’s so most recent wrestling fans know him.
Also not certain how long Bryan will be around for yet with past injury situations for example so it may be worth utilising him as an asset swiftly. He can tell stories as well as be brilliant in the ring, he’s connected to the fans over many years so with the right stories could make it really connect. Also a big title feud with another top star could gain a lot of attention.
Page is still up and coming to me, I’m not sure he’s ready to carry the company. I think of someone as MJF as more impactful currently.
