Scramble, a grenade

If that was the case they’d have rehired Jimmy Havoc already.
Plus conflating Lethal with Scurll is fukked up since Lethal is accused of sexual harassment at worst while Scurll admitted to having sex with a teenage girl.

i do think they’re going to hire Ric Flair in the near future though.

Couple of additional thoughts after watching the show:

1) They did not need the Inner Circle/ATT match. While a great show, the card felt more bloated because of that match and the fact there was already a street fight earlier in the show. That match could have been saved for TV and if they insisted on a PPV match, have it be Jericho/Lambert so it can be a piss break. Also :stopitslime: at no Paige VanThot appearance

2) I think Britt's days as champ are numbered. She had the juice at DoN when she won the title, but I think they should sooner or later have her drop the title to Thunder Rosa once she loses to Jade in a couple weeks.

3) Couple things I have to give AEW credit for are them giving the people what they want and not doing it via massive fukkery. Maybe it's the fact they only have 4 PPV events (they should not change this model at all), but they're able to wrap up stories for the most part at these big events and not drag out rematch after rematch after rematch after rematch like WWE does. If TK followed WWE style booking, he would have pissed away a ton of goodwill if he didn't deliver on Punk in August and having Hangman win last night. Some times it's better to give the fans what they actually want instead of trying to force multiple swerves.

4) Have said it multiple times, but having Miro be Page's first opponent was a layup they absolutely missed. I know they wanted to throw a red herring with BD winning, but he doesn't need to be in the title picture now. Page taking down Miro and Miro continuing to build his character would have only made everyone better.

Why should his first opponent have been Moro? What’s the backstory there?

Another Gold Medal

let the "stand up for wwe" crowd keep hating :manny: aew is catering to their fanbase and their fans are clearly happy w the product. Dude's hate watching 20 hours of the trash that is raw/smackdown/nxt of course they mad at people who are actually having a good time being entertained by their playfighting. :ahh:

Bring on more fukkery Adderall man.

Am not very keen on Adam Page being champion yet. But if it’s a transition to get the belt to Bryan then it makes sense.

I’ve yet to watch the show, I’m actually just starting it up now, but I think Danielson as Page’s first challenger coming out of this show is the best possible way to go. 1.) Danielson feels like the uncrowned champion in a way, he took Kenny to the limit and has looked like the absolute best in the world in every performance he’s had. From a kayfabe perspective and a real life one, that guy is performing like he knows he’s the best and it shows in his matches. He feels like he’s got enough momentum and the weight his name carries, that puts him in the title conversation.

And 2.) Page’s return and win has happened in a time where CM Punk and Bryan Danielson (Cole too but more heavily to me the other too) are major parts of the conversation. Before Page left, he was unquestionably the top babyface. Now? He’s gotta share a spotlight with these guys. He needs to prove he can hang with the best in the business after all this build to it. Miro is perfect to take next after this but to me right now Danielson has been the elephant in the room to Page’s redemption storyline. You gotta have them see who’s the real top guy in the company.
