Show was great live. Crowd was into it all night.
Cody's promo was top notch. His roots being here helped alot, and he delivered a great promo. My theory based off what he said is he will win the match, but via DQ. He only said he wont challenge for the title again 'if he loses', not 'if he doesnt win the title'. Its way too early to take the belt off Jericho just one month into the show being on TV. Also, MJF will turn eventually, but its too soon for that as well. He isnt as well known to the TV crowd yet. They have not fleshed out the friendship of Cody/MJF for the needed impact when he does turn on Cody yet.
The Jericho video was one of the funniest things I have seen in a while on a wrestling show. Well done. The womens tag match went long, but the home stretch was very good. Jamie Hayter is just so damn thick. (there were also 2 cute thick girls that got beat up by Nyla Rose on a Dark match. I just watched Librarian Leva Bates jump on the apron in booty shorts the whole match). Overall, right now, AEW is just doing everything right. The show is just very well done.
Full Gear looks like a great card. Moxley/Omega gonna kill each other, the Tag title match will be great. Will be a good card.

Cody actually went there on Jericho in promo by the xyz's via reversals@counters.com and made himself look better.
including even bringing up Jericho being a hockey legend's son living in Canada of all places.
via promo to approaching ppv on a go home show in charlotte.
it seems brandy Rhodes.
seized the day via exclelent vignette and also made awesome kong.
a major player in one promo like it should be.
like how i said it should and they fixed it.
all after one critical RANt.
what really stood out on this aew ppv go home how.
was the chemistry and malleability of this roster. To sell and get each other over in the simple exchange in and during a work. Where we get the simple high quality of a work...
or exhibition if done with serviceable quality competent parts. Let alone high quality parts allowed to play a plausible actual character in the work.
Guevara to private party, janela and the watchable parts of the darkshow with Allen.
lax is still one of the most underrated legacy tag teams in recent and past wrasslin history. You give lax sumfin and they make it into sumfin Even better.

this is how you do a simple go home show to a ppv.
the Mexican death match standoff between the mox and omega.
is senselessly anticipating enacting an anxiously violent approaching soiree.
it has been a lonG time.
Since the wrasslin community.
has seen a go home major televised go home ppv show.
done this well and In a weeks time.
of paying attention to detail and continuity to high class performers' characters workrate.
Excellent.
highly recommended.
If this company can fix issues in one week like this.
this is gonna be an awesome ride.

at SCU not getting chairs while doing commentary. Kassidy needs to stop the random squelling, I'd get it if he did it once while selling a strike or something but he don't need to do it 2 or 3 times a match.This Jericho parody
They desperatly need to start doing videos to introduce people. Riho the only one in this womens tag that you even feel like you know anything about since Shanna just debuted last week & Hayter just debuted a couple weeks ago. Emi challenging for the title on the PPV (despite her record going into this tag match) & the only thing you really know about her is she loves her some Queen.
with whatever this goofy Brandi shyt is leading to.Damn shame that they brought in Tully & stuck him with Spears. shyt might have had a chance if they had actually put Spears over Cody & made him a upper midecard guy but now it just looks like Tully is backing a jobber.
Damn shame Cody let that inivisible wall stop him form leaving the ring to get to Jericho

other than the diehards (who are going to watch everything). there isn't one person in America channel surfing who comes across TNT and says "let me watch this little 5'5 man flip and flop around"
the point is drawing a mainstream audience and Neville isn't going to do it
