It is well known that earning 100k a year is the threshold for happiness, everything else is gravy

10k a month is 120k a year which is epic

Even after taxes that's like 8k a month

You have enough money for rent, auto payments, any services (gym, streaming, cable), night club, and still have like 4k left over to save, invest, etc. You can have fun.

You can then save like 30k a year to put towards a down-payment on a house.

Or put it into a business idea.

The 14 hour a day 100k a month option is brutal. Blue collar work, but you literally have only time just to sleep. You're sacrificing much of your social life and leisure time to just Friday night through Sunday evening. Just 2 days off. That can cause burnout like hell

I can see it if you try it for like 1 year just to stack money. But can you get another job with that? You have to then manage that money well.

I know what the end result gonna be when they have work a jackhammer (which isn't light by the way) do concrete and asphalt in 100 degree heat for 14 hours oh and that asphalt is already 300°F out the truck.

Been there done that I'm in my early 40s and my body is already feeling the effects give me that 10k and my qol goes up way up. Every month at the union meeting there's roll calls of people who've died most of them don't even reach 70 because 30 years of doing this .
