10Gs/month.

I’ll continue working my current job, max out my 401k, drop cash in a mix of high yield savings and low fee index, and decide whether to sell my house or rent it out.

I’m too :flabbynsick: to do the 280 hours of manual labor needed to get the 100k but young enough where my above plan would give me an early retirement.

Yeah, blue collar 14 hour days is hell for your longevity and qol.

Those dudes be strong but in pain when they get older.

I used to work 12s in a white collar gig and I was :sadbron:

I'm not built for working a 70 hour work week at this point in my life

Yall see the difference in mindset in here?

There are those of us who desire to build that generational wealth, just as we are commanded to do in Proverbs 13:22 -

“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.”

And then there’s the other side who are justifying laziness with “I don’t wanna beat my body up” and “I’d be comfortable off of 10K/mo”.

That is selfish, and it doesn’t align with your purpose nor does it express your God-likeness.

Just saying.

If I had a family then maybe I would sacrifice myself and work 14 hours for $100k to make sure they’re set for life. But as a single dude, he’ll nah I’m taking 10k easily

This.

I'd keep my current job and pay bills with that. The extra $10k (probably tax free?), I'd just stick it in high yield savings and the brokerage accounts (index funds).

The $100k/month while working crazy hours would be harder to sustain. Age matters though. A 20-year old breh should take the $100k/mo job. $15k/month to spend on himself (car, nice place etc) and save $85k/month. By age 30, he's got $10M. By age 35, he's got $15M. He can retire at that point and just do whatever for the next 50 years.

This is one of the most fukked up "this vs that" thread subjects I've ever read. The fukk made you think this bullshyt, fukk ass OP nikka? The fukk is wrong with you.

So you are either bored as fukk with no real daily routine but you get enough money to live solid. Or you are near rich, bussin your ass for 14 hours a day.

fukk both of those options. I'm shooting thru my door if you go door to door asking this shyt in my area.

Who said you can’t get a job you actually enjoy or volunteer if you take the $10k option?

Give me the free money. I’ll figure the rest out from there. :wow:
